Name of the Project
Toroparu gold project.

Location
Guyana.

Project Owner/s
South America-focused gold mining company Aris Mining Corporation.

Project Description
A preliminary economic assessment (PEA), published in October 2025, has confirmed Toroparu as a large-scale, long-life openpit gold project with robust economics.

The PEA proposes a conventional truck-and-shovel operation with a strip ratio of 4.7 :1 (waste to mill feed) and a processing plant designed to treat a nominal seven-million-tonne-a-year, run-of-mine feed. The plant will produce two doré products and a copper/gold flotation concentrate. The two oxide and sulphide mill feed types will be stockpiled and processed separately during designated campaigns.

Total gold production over the estimated 21.3-year life-of-mine (LoM) is estimated at five-million ounces, with average yearly LoM gold production estimated at 235 000 oz.

The project site infrastructure will be organised into primary areas. This includes the Toroparu and Sona Hill openpits and processing plant, with supporting services, the tailings management facilities and site-wide infrastructure, including access roads, a tailings pipeline, an airstrip and a camp area.

Potential Job Creation
Development of the project will provide a diversity of employment and socioeconomic opportunities. A high percentage of the workforce will be hired from within Guyana.

The workforce during the construction phase is estimated at between 1 292 to 1 520. During steady-state operations, the workforce is expected to increase to between 185 and 213 personnel.

Net Present Value/Internal Rate of Return
At a base case of $3 000/oz, the project has a net present value, at a 5% discount rate, of $1 805 and an internal rate of return of 25.2%, with a payback of three years.

Capital Expenditure
Initial construction capital is estimated at $820-million, including preproduction costs and contingency of $96-million.
