AuTECO prepares for Green Bay drilling campaign, appoints MD
Australia-listed AuTECO Minerals is set to embark on an aggressive exploration programme at the Green Bay copper and gold project, in Newfoundland, Canada, having completed the acquisition of Rambler Metals and Mining.
The company on Friday reported that it had completed the acquisition of Rambler Metals and Mining and 1948565 Ontario, which handed it a 100% interest in the project, located on the Baie Verte peninsula.
AuTECO’s growth strategy is headlined by a 40 000 m underground drilling campaign and development of a 700 m exploration drive.
The firm’s management personnel are on site to prepare for the resource drilling programme.
Following the completion of the acquisition, AuTECO announced the appointment of Steven Parsons as MD and Michael Naylor as executive director.
Parsons has been a nonexecutive director of the company since January 2020. A geologist with more than 20 years’ experience in the mining industry, he has a proven track record of mineral discoveries, corporate growth, international investor relations and creating shareholder wealth.
Parsons was the founder and previous MD of ASX200 companies Bellevue Gold and Gryphon Minerals.
Naylor has been a nonexecutive director of AuTECO since November 2018. He has 27 years’ experience in corporate advisory and public company management since starting his career and qualifying as a chartered accountant with EY.
Naylor was a founder and previous executive director of Bellevue Gold and previous executive director of Cygnus Metals.
