CEMSA champions local manufacturing of high-pressure cleaners
Irene-, Gauteng-based CEMSA will be introducing some of its new and innovative high-pressure equipment at Electra Mining Africa.
On September 2, the company will launch its newly upgraded autonomous range of petrol and diesel high-pressure cleaners.
Another first for CEMSA is a presentation on September 5 by Chief Technical Officer John Rudman, who will be discussing the importance of continuously innovating new high-pressure cleaning solutions for the mining industry.
“The importance of cleaning has never been as apparent as it is these days, even in industrial applications. This need has driven companies to continuously innovate, finding new ways to improve reliability and ease of service on equipment,” says the company.
Although South Africa has traditionally imported this type of equipment there is a growing trend to locally manufacture. Rudman will be discussing the advantages of local manufacture versus importing high-pressure equipment for the African market.
South African businesses have traditionally imported high-pressure washers and industrial cleaning equipment. However, CEMSA has met the demand for high-quality, local production and manufactured their extensive range right here in Pretoria. Both local and international manufacturers tend to have an “umbrella” approach to equipment design and production. CEMSA believes that industrial cleaning equipment should be suited to each individual customer’s application, particularly those with a mining or industrial application.
“Our approach is to find cost-effective solutions that not only solve our customers’ needs, but also consider reliability and long-term maintenance requirements.
“Our in-house manufacturing, assembly, electrical design and machine build facilities are complimented by our research and development department. “This ensures we are able to efficiently resolve all needs and new innovations into our ever-growing range of machines,” states CEMSA.
The company boasts an extensive range of equipment, and has a fast-growing dealer network throughout Southern Africa.
“Cold water, hot water, diesel, portable, clean-in-place solutions, trailer mounted, the list of units produced in our facility is almost endless,” states CEMSA.
