Project Description
The project forms part Saudi Arabia's ambitious Vision 2030, which endeavours to unlock an estimated $1.3-trillion in mineral resources.

The projects encompass a 400 000 t/y greenfield copper smelter and refinery, along with a 
300 000 t/y copper rod project.

Vedanta plans to start operations in the kingdom with a 125 000 t/y copper rod mill project, for which all the necessary approvals have been received, land has been acquired and technology orders have been placed.
