The latest innovation in wireless, high temperature, ultrasonic monitoring – Up to the 3x more sensitive than competing sensors.

Cosasco, a global leader and pioneer of corrosion monitoring, has released a new product, “Echo Point” is in an elite class of wireless ultrasonic sensors rated for the most hazardous environments (class I, div I or zone 0).

Echo Point provides three configuration options tailored to the demands of varied environments:

  • High Sensitivity Duals are up to 3x more sensitive than competing sensors and are ideal for monitoring identified volumetric defects for maximum thin-wall sensitivity (minimum wall thickness of 0.040” or 1 mm).
  • Thru-Coating is perfect for applications where coating removal is not an option.
  • Ultra-High Temp has specialized tech-nology to monitor the hottest processes (up to 932°F / 500°C).
  • Resolution - a thickness resolution of 0.001” (0.025 mm)

Echo Point was designed with the user in mind to ensure ease of installation and maintenance.  Echo Point has clamping solutions for pipe diameters ranging from 2 to 36 inches (DN 50 to DN 900). Magnetic and welded bracket mounting solutions are available for larger diameter vessels or surfaces.

Data can seamlessly integrate into existing plant infrastructure, systems and dashboards with Cosasco’s Data Online software to be used in real-time to make critical decisions.  Echo Point can operate on the two most widely used industrial mesh networks; WirelessHART (available now) and ISA100 (coming soon). Cosasco Data Online supports back-end communication via HART-IP, Modbus TCP/IP, or OPC to DCS and SCADA systems.

Cosasco has been a corrosion monitoring pioneer for the last 70 years with an integrated portfolio of solutions to assist with increase safety of your facilities while also minimizing unnecessary costs and downtime.  Cosasco serves over 110 countries and has the team of experts and technology to serve you and your monitoring needs.  Reach out to your local Cosasco partner to learn more today.
