ASX-listed Global Lithium has signed a heritage protection agreement (HPA) with the Nyamal Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (NAC) for its expanded Marble Bar project tenure in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

The agreement establishes a framework for engagement between Global Lithium and the Nyamal Traditional Owners, ensuring the company’s exploration activities respect and protect Nyamal heritage and Native Title rights. The HPA applies to the entire Marble Bar project, including the recently acquired Talga project tenements, which have increased the company’s Pilbara holdings by 38%.

Global Lithium executive chair Ron Mitchell expressed appreciation for the collaboration with the Nyamal Traditional Owners, stating that the agreement provided a clear pathway for cooperation on Nyamal lands. The company aimed to explore gold and base metal potential at Marble Bar while progressing approvals for its Manna Lithium project.

With a strong cash position and no debt, Global Lithium continues to assess strategic acquisitions to enhance shareholder value.

Nyamal Aboriginal co-chair Troy Eaton emphasised the importance of respecting Aboriginal cultural heritage, welcoming companies that align with NAC’s values in protecting heritage during exploration activities.
