Harena appoints new interim CFO, corporate adviser, broker
London-listed Harena Rare Earths has announced the appointment of Jack Allardyce as interim CFO, as well as the appointment of broker Marex as corporate adviser and SP Angel Corporate Finance as joint broker, with immediate effect.
The company says Allardyce brings substantial listed company experience, with a strong record as a CFO and senior finance executive across the natural resources sector.
It notes that he has extensive experience in capital markets, corporate finance, stakeholder engagement and working with UK and international investors and has supported a number of publicly listed companies through key growth and transactional phases.
“The board believes his expertise will be highly valuable as Harena continues to strengthen its financial and capital markets capabilities.”
Meanwhile, Harena says Marex has been appointed to provide corporate advisory services with a particular focus on institutional marketing, trading support and access to US capital markets, in support of the company’s growth strategy and its UK and US market ambitions.
The company says Marex is a leading corporate advisory firm which, with its recent acquisition of Winterflood Securities, one of the UK’s leading market makers, has further enhanced its equities’ platform and capabilities across trading, distribution and market making.
SP Angel has been appointed as Harena’s joint broker and will lead equity research coverage and investor marketing in the UK.
With these appointments, Harena says it is well-placed to expand its access to prospective shareholders and continue to deliver further progress in the development of the Ampasindava ionic clay rare earth project, in Madagascar.
