Sipokazi Luzipo Khoza

Lesedi Nuclear Services electrical engineer Sipokazi Luzipo Khoza is a shining example of determination and ambition. Born on October 12, 1992, in the small Eastern Cape town of Butterworth, Khoza’s journey is one of perseverance and excellence.

With a BTech in Electrical Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and on the cusp of completing her Master of Engineering in Energy, Khoza’s educational path has been one of consistent growth.

Her collaborative management style fosters teamwork and innovation, guiding her projects towards success. When asked about her inspirations, she eagerly mentions Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng, the former Vice Chancellor of UCT, as someone she aspires to meet.
Khoza’s life philosophy, “You are who you’ve been waiting for, no one is coming to save you,” underscores her belief in self-empowerment. Nicky Van Der Poel

Phumeza Sidonti, a remarkable figure in the world of engineering and construction, shares her inspiring journey from Port Elizabeth. Born on March 23, 1982, her path to success is marked by determination and expertise.

With a degree in Environmental Management, which she acquired in 2004, Sidonti delved into Health and Safety within the engineering and construction industry. She currently holds the role of Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager at distinguished South African engineering organisation Lesedi Nuclear Services.

The company specialises in power generation, including nuclear, thermal, gas to power, and renewables. Sidonti’s responsibilities encompass diverse areas, from health and safety plan development to compliance enforcement with legal guidelines and country-specific regulations.

Her transformational leadership style, fuelled by emotional intelligence, creates an ever-evolving environment that drives her team to surpass company goals. Sidonti empowers employees to embrace challenges, expand their skills, and undertake new projects, all to achieve a common objective.
