Millennial Potash to start drilling previously explored Gabon prospect
TSX-V-listed potash explorer Millennial Potash reports that all the drill holes at its previously explored Millennial Potash project in Gabon have intersected potash mineralisation, thereby leading the company to be optimistic about the project's potential.
“It is a well-known potash basin,” says chairperson and director Farhad Abasov, who adds that, going forward, the company is in a good place to continue exploration at the site, with all of the infrastructure on site.
“We will start drilling right away,” he says, adding that the drill results are expected in the next few months.
With these updated drill results, Abasov says Millennial is hopeful of declaring a maiden resource estimate by the end of summer.
“[If the results are positive], then we will start a preliminary economic assessment right away. We are hoping to complete that by the end of the year [or] early 2024,” he says.
The potash project has the potential to make a significant impact on the agriculture industry, providing a key fertiliser to support crop growth and food production.
