Standard Lithium (55%) and Equinor (45%).

Project Description
The project’s design is being updated from its original preliminary feasibility study (PFS) to allow for a larger total output of 45 000 t/y of battery lithium carbonate, to be developed in two phases of 22 500 t each.

The central processing facility for Phase 1 is being designed to produce 22 500 t of battery-quality lithium carbonate using direct lithium extraction technology.

A definitive feasibility study and front-end engineering design are under way to support the proposed expansion of the project.
