Denver-based SSR Mining on Monday announced that it would delist from the ASX, citing infrequent and low trade volumes compared with that of the Nasdaq and TSX.

The company explained that the CHESS depository interests (CDIs) held on the Australian register had declined to about 1.74% of the total issued share capital by January 31.

The last day of trading for CDIs on the ASX would be April 4 and the company would be removed from the official list of the ASX at the close of trade on April 8.

Following the delisting, SSR would continue to be traded on the Nasdaq and TSX under the symbol SSRM.

SSR is a gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc producer that owns mines in Turkiye, the US, Canada and Argentina.
