Strata Logistics Swings for Sight — Raising R30,000 for the SA Guide Dogs Association

Strata Logistics proudly joined the Pretoria City Lions Annual Golf Day at the prestigious Wingate Country Club — and the results were nothing short of remarkable. Beyond a day of great golf and vibrant networking, the event raised an impressive R30,000 in support of the South African Guide Dogs Association, helping to transform lives of people living with visual impairments across the country.
For the millions of South Africans who live with partial or complete visual loss, a guide dog is far more than a companion — it’s freedom, safety, and independence. Each guide dog requires over two years of specialised training, making fundraising efforts like this vital to sustaining the Association’s life-changing work.
“Seeing how our contribution directly impacts lives is truly humbling,” says Deon de Villiers, Managing Member of Strata Logistics. “As a company, we believe in partnerships that move people forward — whether it’s through logistics or life-changing initiatives like this. Every rand raised on that fairway will help someone take another confident step toward independence.”
The fairways were alive with community spirit, business camaraderie, and a shared purpose. Professionals from across the logistics and transport industries came together to support a cause that goes far beyond the game — proving that when businesses unite for good, real change happens.
Over the years, Strata Logistics has become known not only for its reliable linehaul and contract vehicle solutions across South Africa but also for its strong sense of social responsibility. Giving back to the communities it serves is deeply woven into the company’s values, aligning perfectly with its guiding message:
Your Load. Our Promise.
Strata extends heartfelt thanks to the Pretoria City Lions for hosting another outstanding event, to the sponsors who made it possible, and to everyone who took a swing for sight.
