TRANSITION IN ACTION

TRANSITION IN ACTION: Seriti Green’s Ummbila Emoyeni renewables complex is starting to take shape in a province currently dominated by coal. Located between Bethal and Morgenzon, in Mpumalanga, the first 155 MW wind facility is under construction by the company, which is linked to coal miner Seriti Resources. The site forms part of a broader 900 MW hybrid renewable energy cluster that is expected to be fully commissioned by 2027.
