Sustainability in the transport and logistics industry is no longer a nice to have but rather essential in the way the industry responds to social and governmental pressure. This shift does not only lead to minimising environmental impact but has a substantial effect on business relationships and the bottom line.

The industry is currently in the unique position to reinvent itself and adopt innovative solutions to become more eco-friendly. Like most new endeavours, the big questions are ‘Where do we start?’, ‘Which solutions should we adopt?’, ‘What are the costs going to be?’, ‘Will the new process and product be viable in the long term?’, among a myriad of other questions.

During a webinar, presented in partnership with Creamer Media Webinars, on March 5 at 14:00, a panel of speakers sourced by Transport Evolution Africa Forum and Expo will examine the best way of transitioning to sustainable practices in transport and logistics. How ready the industry is for alternative fuels, the availability of these fuels and at what cost will it come. In addition, experts will explore how technology is leading the way for effective sustainable practices that can also enhance cost savings.
