West African reports fatality at Burkina Faso gold project

ASX-listed West African Resources said on Monday that a contractor had died while working at its Kiaka gold project, in Burkina Faso.

No other persons were injured in the accident, the company said in a statement.

WAF and the Kiaka safety team are working with authorities and the contracting companies involved to investigate the accident.
