Mid-tier silver producer Endeavour Silver has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Bolañitos gold/silver mine in Mexico to Guanajuato Silver Company for consideration of up to $50-million.

The transaction includes $40-million upfront, comprising $30-million in cash and $10-million in Guanajuato Silver shares, with closing targeted for January 2026. An additional $10-million may be paid through two contingent payments linked to future production milestones at Bolañitos.

Announcing the sale, CEO Dan Dickson said the divestment aligned with Endeavour’s strategy to focus capital and management attention on its core silver assets, particularly the Terronera development project and the large-scale Pitarrilla deposit.

“The sale of Bolañitos marks a significant milestone in the rationalization of our portfolio,” Dickson said. “By focusing our resources on our core silver assets, we are sharpening our operational focus and positioning the company for sustainable growth.”

The sale further advances Endeavour’s pivot toward building a larger, silver-focused production base. Terronera, now under construction, is expected to underpin the company’s next phase of growth, while Pitarrilla – one of the world’s largest undeveloped silver deposits – continues to be advanced through technical studies.

Endeavour currently operates four mines across Mexico and Peru and maintains a broad exploration pipeline in Mexico, Chile, and the US.
