Vedanta Zinc International (VZI) subsidiary Black Mountain Mining (BBM).
 
Project Description

It is envisioned that the smelter will treat all zinc concentrate from the Gamsberg operation. 

A phased approach will be used. 

In Phase 1, 300 000 t/y will be processed by repeating the available Hindustan Zinc Limited, or HZL, smelter design, which incorporates the necessary modifications required to treat Gamsberg concentrate.
