Firmly entrenched as an Africa-based diversified heavy engineering company, Raubex Group continues to excel as a world-class player in the heavy construction sector, with a focus on infrastructure development.

Founded by industry legend Koos Raubenheimer in 1974, the company has a proud record of more than 40 years of uninterrupted profitability. Today, the group comprises three divisions – Roads, Infrastructure and Materials – which complement each other to provide a complete service. More than 7 800 people are employed across the group.

Companies in the Raubex Group stable include Kempton Park-based B&E International, which makes a vital contribution to mining and is also active in mobile crushing for the construction industry and static crushing plants for large infrastructure projects.

Cape Town-based Burma Plant Hire, which supplies plant of the highest standard from leading manufacturers, is also a member of the group, as is Bloemfontein-based Raubex Infra, which provides innovative solutions for infrastructure in a range of segments: rail; civil work on mines; fibre and global system for mobile communications; and electricity and alternative energy. Another group company, Raubex Building, located in Midrand, Gauteng, offers competitive turnkey solutions for projects, ranging from large housing initiatives

for mining companies to low-cost housing and commercial and industrial developments, while Cape Town-headquartered SPH Kundalila, a Raubex subsidiary, supplies comprehensive surface mining and materials handling solutions for mining projects.
