Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, and recognised sustainability leader, has announced the availability of its GoPact MCCB (Moulded Case Circuit Breaker) and GoPact MTS (Manual Transfer Switch) range to the East African marketplace.

The GoPact products, which form part of Schneider Electric’s Go Series, have been tailored for non-critical applications and designed with panel builders and electrical professionals in mind, enabling them to complete installations more easily, affordably, and with confidence.

The GoPact MCCB protects circuits overload or short circuit damage, making it the ideal option for standard power distribution needs. The GoPact MTS allows users to switch manually between source, ensuring that power keeps flowing when needed. This is particularly useful in applications where power reliability is important but doesn’t necessarily require automatic switching.

“Our GoPact offering is a game-changer for panel builders and distribution partners across East Africa,” says Geraldine Sande, Channel Sales Leader at Schneider Electric East Africa. “It enables quicker project completion thanks to its simplified configuration and robust design, all while maintaining Schneider Electric’s trusted standards for quality and reliability.”

“GoPact empowers our partners to gain a competitive edge by delivering fast, reliable solutions in residential, commercial, and light industrial sectors.”

The GoPact products are ideally suited for a wide range of basic applications such as cluster housing, small-to-medium commercial buildings, retail outlets, and mini-substations, where affordability, ease of integration, and reliability are essential.

The products’ compatibility with non-type tested enclosures also makes them particularly attractive in markets favouring cost-effective panel builds.

Key benefits for partners include:

  • Speed and simplicity - with an easy-to-understand portfolio and broad range of accessories, GoPact devices support quicker design, selection, and installation.
  • Affordability with performance - positioned to compete with low-cost options, GoPact offers partners a cost-effective alternative without compromising on performance.
  • Sustainable packaging – the products from of Schneider Electric’s Green Premium portfolio; delivered in 100% recycled cartons and include QR codes for seamless digital access to documentation.
