Brazil-focused gold producer Serabi Gold has confirmed that mining and milling operations at its Palito Complex and Coringa mine were not disrupted following recent incidents at the sites.

The company said on Monday that production activities continued in line with budget and operational plans, despite the events that occurred last week.

In an update, Serabi said it had complied with all protocols required by relevant agencies and authorities and continued to cooperate fully with regulators.

The company also confirmed that it was providing ongoing support to affected families and employees.

The company said it was “well-advanced with an internal review of relevant procedures to ensure we continue to provide a safe and supportive workplace for everyone”.
