Trilogy’s Giardini joins Alamos Gold board
Canada-based intermediate gold producer Alamos Gold on Tuesday announced the appointment of Tony Giardini to its board of directors.
Giardini is currently CEO of Trilogy Metals. He previously served as president of Ivanhoe Mines and was CFO of Kinross Gold.
“Tony brings a wealth of industrial, financial and executive leadership experience. His deep understanding of the mining industry, coupled with his extensive financial expertise, makes him an excellent addition to our board,” commented Alamos president and CEO John McCluskey.
The miner, which has two mines in Canada and one in Mexico, promoted Scott Parsons to senior VP corporate development and investor relations and appointed Khalid Elhaj as VP business development and investor relations.
“I would also like to congratulate Scott and Khalid on their appointments and look forward to their ongoing contributions as we continue to execute on our growth initiatives and create value for our shareholders,” added McCluskey.
