Munyamela Muofhe Mildred
Position and company name: Town Planner at BVi Consulting Engineers Pretoria
Date and place of birth: 28 July 1992 Education: Honours degree in town and regional planning
Management style: Collaborative leaders work closely with their team members and believe that when people feel personally and professionally fulfilled, they are more effective and more likely to produce great work regularly.
Personal best achievement: Firstly, being a mother to my Princess and last year, I had the opportunity to work on a particular project where I transformed a 2D layout into a fully realised 3D model, complete with a fly- through video using Enscape. The project involved designing a new sustainable industrial community, and it was one of the most comprehensive and challenging tasks I have undertaken. To achieve this, I meticulously converted the 2D plans into a detailed 3D model. The project was a success not only in terms of design but also in effectively communicating the vision to all involved parties.
Philosophy of life: I am committed to lifelong learning and personal growth.
Message for other women leaders in the South African business community: Let us continue to support and uplift one another, recognising that our collective success strengthens the entire community. By mentoring and empowering young women, advocating for equity and inclusion, and celebrating each other's successes, we can build a more inclusive and equitable business landscape.
