Australia-listed Sierra Nevada Gold has announced a strategic review of its assets, exploring options such as joint ventures, strategic partnerships or project sales.

The company has five 100%-controlled projects in Nevada, comprising four gold and silver projects and a large copper/gold porphyry project.

“The objective is to allow the company to focus its resources on projects with the greatest potential and strengthen its position as a junior explorer,” it said in a statement.

Sierra Nevada also announced that its focus is shifting from its previously prioritised Warrior project to the Blackhawk epithermal project, which recently returned silver intercepts up to 1 270 g/t silver.

Blackhawk is fully permitted and ready for drilling.
