South Africa must grasp the green hydrogen opportunity for the benefit of its people

Representatives of development finance institutions, private-sector banks, mining companies, automotive manufacturers, and energy development organisations are increasingly urging South Africa Inc to pursue the lucky green hydrogen opportunity with smart collaboration.

An increasing number believe that developing a domestic green hydrogen sector requires all stakeholders to align for the good of the South African people and the planet. The country needs a cluster of green hydrogen believers to champion this domestic and export opportunity in a way that all parties benefit, including those that must exit the fossil fuel sector to combat climate change, which is regularly showing itself to be a major threat to global life and living.
