Total budgeted capital project funding to replace and refurbish plant and equipment, as well as restart the plant, is estimated at $65-million.

Planned Start/End Date
Jervois reported on August 18 that first production, which had initially been targeted for the fourth quarter of 2024, is now anticipated to be 12 months from full mobilisation.

Latest Developments
Jervois Global has “moderated” the pace of restart operations at its SMP nickel/cobalt refinery, with first production from SMP now anticipated to be 12 months from full mobilisation.

In the interim, the company is continuing discussions with lenders and other interested parties, reporting that project cost guidance at SMP remains unchanged, with the near-term costs having been minimised.
